3 Course Meal with Latmun

I’m going to do this on my hometown, Nottingham as I obviously know it the best and if people are in the city to party it gives them some things to try, I don’t think it’s quite as convenient to fly over to Japan or Australia.

Fresh from a huge summer laying down infectious grooves at festivals such as Sundown and Get Out and events for Elrow, Paradise and Ants, Latmun returns to Egg LDN this Friday November 29th following on from his road block all night long debut back in June. One of our nights of the year he goes in for another marathon set and here he shares his choices for a wonderful 3 course meal ahead of one of the hottest tickets this weekend.

3 Course Meal with Latmun

I’m going to do this on my hometown, Nottingham as I obviously know it the best and if people are in the city to party it gives them some things to try, I don’t think it’s quite as convenient to fly over to Japan or Australia to try a restaurant I’ve eaten at haha.

 Starters:

Cuzina - A modern Greek Eatery

I love this place and have eaten here almost as many times as the maximum count on both hands! It’s great for starters as the whole menu is essentially starters! It’s a Greek Tapas style place with a huge variety of dishes all with unique modern twists unique to the place. The two dishes I would make sure any new visitors tried would be - the pan-fried sea bass with seafood sauce, spinach and crispy capers and the Fig and Mozzarella salad - which sounds simple but is a really nice blend of flavours. I’m yet to take Detlef there actually to give it the true Greek test but I will at some point!

Meal 2: Mains:

MemSaab - This is a modern Indian restaurant just outside of the city centre. I love curry anyway and this place provides something different by a modern twist. I’d probably have some more starters as they are delicious haha. And then my favourite curry is either the Rogan Josh (extra spicy) or the Vindaloo and because of that we would have to get both!

Meal 3: Deserts (Our favourite, we have a sweet tooth)

For desert, I would take someone who hasn’t been to Nottingham to visit DoughNotts. It’s a local donut company unique to Nottingham. They have Doughnuts you have never even dreamt up before and if you thought Krispy Kreme are good, well….
