What track first made a major impression on you growing up and what can you recall about that time and how you heard it?

The first track that struck me growing up was Octave One’s classic ’Black Water’ which I heard when I went to a club for the first time in 2009, and that club was The Afrobar in Catania, a fantastic place on the sea. I was enchanted by this work of art and continue to be so till this day.

Which track first inspired you to get into music seriously and think about it as a career?

All house music has inspired me and I learnt thanks to this kind of music that I wanted to be a DJ and touch people through my emotional sets. I started studying singing at the age of 9 and I always dedicated myself to music, but it was listening to the killer song that made everyone dance, and in that moment I knew I wanted to be a DJ.

What’s your favourite dance floor track right now and what makes it stand out?

My favourite is the club dance floor…a small place where I concentrate all my energies. When I play I like being in contact with people and dancing as if I were on the dance floor with them. For sure Egg LDN fully reflects my thoughts about this. What track do you wish you’d produced and why? The song I wish I had produced is ‘Music Is The Answer’ by Celeda with Danny Tenaglia on the mix, which I first heard in Milan’s Wall club. Simple and effective.

What track never leaves your bag and why’s it close to you?

During my set I always play some classic house tracks that are part of the history of house music. At the moment I'm working a lot in the studio and I have some new releases coming up in collaboration with other artists and labels that I admire. Without music our lives would be empty and meaningless and I feel music guides us towards feelings. When you're sick, when you think that nothing makes sense, listen to music and you will have your answers.
