Having just released his mesmerising new album, ’Vin’, like his DJ sets the album’s sounds grow in size, crescendoing into utter euphoria whilst keeping the signature Kiasmos sound. Kiasmos City’s Finest
1. The Coffee
This might surprise some, but there's a really good and rich coffee culture in Reykjavík. Basically, every other cafe will have proper real good coffee. It's something I miss sometimes when travelling abroad.
2. It's Small
Reykjavík is small, but it's still the capital of Iceland, so it has everything one would need in a modern city. You just don't have to commute up to 2 hours within the city to get to places.
3. The People
Icelanders are quite a wacky bunch of people. It's something to do with the fact that in Winter there's no daylight and in summer there's no darkness, so Icelander's behaviour may vary greatly depending on what time a year it is. This makes them quite unpredictable and fun, most of the time anyway.
4. Tap Water
Honestly, Iceland has the tastiest tap water in the world. Don't you dare buy bottled water in Iceland!!
5. My Studio
My favourite thing about Iceland is that my studio is here. It's really where I want to be most of the time. I guess it could be anywhere in the world but that's beside the point.
