Joyhauser - Select Cuts

Ahead of this they flank Monika Kruse for the Terminal M showcase this Saturday August 3rd and share with us their Select Cuts.

Sitting in the Techno Top 10 for their Remix of Amelie Lens’s track ‘Hypnotized’ on the back of an incredible set at Tomorrowland recently, Belgium’s compelling duo Joyhauser are enjoying their best year to date.

With mega shows to come at Elrow in Amsterdam, ADE with Pan-Pot and the Drumcode Festival, the pair also host a special event on the beach in Belgium where they play an extended 12 hour set as part of their Labyrinth Club tour. Ahead of this they flank Monika Kruse for the Terminal M showcase this Saturday August 3rd and share with us their Select Cuts.

Renowned for blending tough techno mixed with emotive elements as the core of their sound, we can’t wait to hear them put our sound system through its paces.

SELECTED CUTS : JOYHAUSER

1- ‘Look What Your Love Has Done To Me’ Amelie Lens Remix - Perc (Perc Trax)

We used to play the original version a lot. This remix really revamps it. It’s almost impossible to improve the original but Amelie managed to pull it off!

2 - ‘Doch’ - Hinz & Ruhmhardt (Second State)

A track we’ve played countless times. This one’s nearly 5 years old but it still sounds so fresh and manages to kill the dancefloor every single time.

3-  ‘Never Back’ - Frankyeffe (Terminal M)

Loved Frankyeffe’s whole White Dwarf EP on Terminal M but this one keeps on sticking in our head. The main lead together with the hypnotising arpeggiator is just pure magic.

4 - ‘Balthazar’ - Klangkuenstler (Outworld)

Practically everything Klangkuenstler puts out there is FIRE! Rave style drums and trance style leads take you back to way beyond. If we really have to choose one than it’s this Balthazar track but seriously, check out his other stuff too.

5- ‘Primary K272’ - Dubspeeka (Drumcode)

Older Drumcode gem. The dark and twisted percussion takes you in entirely. The melancholic bassline and strings finish the job perfectly. Lovely stuff.

Come join the Belgium duo on the Middle Floor this weekend as they join forces with Monika Kruse for the Terminal M showcase.
