Ann Clue: Four To The Floor

An integral part of Boris Brejcha's Fcking Serious family, Ann Clue supports the high-tech minimal German DJ this Saturday 4th February as part of his label takeover. Having teamed up with Boris in the studio as well as in the booth, we asked her to select four tracks guaranteed to do the business when she takes the helm this weekend.

Boris Brejcha - 'Mr. Eric'

A very old track from Boris, which I discovered quite late. I played it for the first time I think in 2016 during a set when I had to play much longer than expected and I was running out of tracks. I loved it and since then I play it most of the time as it's such a fun and different track.

Boris Brejcha & Ann Clue - 'Roadtrip'

This was a wonderful accident. Boris and I had been on tour in Australia and we started working on a track in a friend's studio. We couldn't finish it, but took it back home with us to do the fine-tuning. We ended up deleting the track and after a little bit of wine started all over again. 'Roadtrip' came out in just a few hours and its still one of my all time favourites. The feeling of the bass and the combination with the melody is unique. I get goosebumps whenever I hear it out loud.

Boris Brejcha - 'Dark Planet'

A simple 3/4 beat that drives me crazy whenever I listen to it. It's just such a cool sub bass and the beat makes you dance and you can´t stop your feet. I love it!

Anna - 'Odd Concept'

One good example that girls can do the dark thing as well. I can feel how Anna felt when she was producing this and I can´t stop moving whenever I hear it.
