Joyce Muniz interview with Ibiza Voice

Based in Vienna but with Brazilian roots, Joyce Muniz is well known label for dropping killer grooves on leading European labels from 20/20 Vision to Get Physical

Based in Vienna but with Brazilian roots, Joyce Muniz started out as a vocalist on the Kruder & Dorfmeister label G-stone and on Shir Khan’s well known label Exploited but is now much better known for dropping killer grooves on leading European labels from 20/20 Vision to Get Physical.

Alongside her own deep house missiles on Exploited, Joyce has remixed International stars like Blaze, Amp Fiddler, Robert Owens and Maya Jane Coles with Kim Ann Foxman, and Richie Hawtin featured her ‘Back In The Days’ tune, a collaboration with rapper Baby Bam from the legendary hip hop group The Jungle Brothers, in his Boiler Room Set, which also got the heads up from A-listers Loco Dice and Skream

You’re coming to play at Rio LDN on Saturday June 4th alongside fellow Brazilians Mau Mau, Renato Cohen, Anderson Noise, Renato Lopes, Mixhell and Flow & Zeo. Is there anyone else's set you want to check out and why?

"It’s a very cool Brazilian line up indeed. Last year I had the pleasure to play in Rio de Janeiro for one of the promoters of the Rio Music Conference and now they’re coming to London! It’s gonna be a nice get together, especially when everyone on the line up knows each other. I'm really excited to hear the Brazilian techno pioneers Mau Mau and Anderson Noise."
