Going Out

Gewölbe for going out if you prefer an intimate atmosphere and care about sound. Also, Odonien if you’re looking for a unique location in summer as a lot of fun open-air parties take place there. If you’re in the part of the city called Ehrenfeld, you’ll find a lot of hip bars and venues with char-acter which guarantee for a fun time.

Green Spaces

For the day after, there’s a lot of green areas in the city where you can unwind and rest, we have so many great parks and of course the beautiful Rhine river.

Food

There are lots of great choices here and my favourite eatery is Taku, which offers Asian cuisine, and is situated in the old town.

Kolsch Beer

The city is also famous for its style of beer ‘Kölsch’ so there’s a lot of places which brew amazing beers in all varieties and I can totally recommend sampling some. Here are 10 of the best places to have a Kölsch ☞ beer.

Record Shops

Kompakt for electronic music and A-Musik for other genres! If you’re into Hip Hop, Early Bird and Groove Attack will be the best choice for you. Another record shop I really like is Parallel.
