After cementing our new home at Egg London in back 2015, we can’t wait to bring the Toolroom Live party to 2017 – Kicking off the first event of the year with another huge line up, allowing us to showcase every sound that the label has to offer. 9 artists. 3 rooms. 1 night. It’s not to be missed.
After a massive 2016, head honcho Mark Knight returns. Taking things dark and
Techy in the main room, he’s joined by Prok & Fitch. Recently topping the
#1 Beatport position alongside Green Velvet with ‘Sheeple’ we’re so excited to
be bringing the boys back to the city. Also joining the Toolroom party and
fresh from the Toolroom Live BPM show, we welcome Oliver Giacomotto – The perfect
addition to the main room, keeping people dancing with his Tech-House, no
nonsense approach to music. Finishing the room, another Toolroom signing… Hotly
tipped from Annie Mac and Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Bristol’s own, Ben
Remember, making his first ever Toolroom Live x Egg debut.
No Toolroom Live party would be complete without Weiss City – A strict House
only policy which has seen Weiss’ residency grow and grow in just a few short
years. A way to showcase his own personal music taste, 2016 saw special guests:
S-man, Mat.Joe, Ninetoes and Lewis Boardman. This time, we welcome German DJ
and producer, Oliver Dollar with his straight chunky sound, he’s he perfect
addiction to the Weiss City camp. Also joining us on the night, one very
special duo who stormed onto the scene with ‘Raider’ on Hot Trax – Raumakustik.
Adding their own touch to Weiss City, we’re buzzing to have them be a part of
it.
In the basement we have our friends over at Love & Other taking over and
things get a little deeper with London based Kisch and California born, Leeds
based, Mad Villains.
