Pioneers of frantic, bass-heavy fidget and electro house in the noughties, Crookers were originally a duo but in 2012 slim-lined down to just joint founder Phra. Still bringing tropical, hip-hop and R&B influences to the mix (check the recent mix of Brandy and Destiny's Child), Crookers' current sound stretches from deep house – as heard on Phra's widely played 'Withdrawals' single for Defected – to a more jacking sound, highlighted by the squeaking, bumping Jeremih vocal led 'I Just Can't'. His Ciao Recs label widens this remit further, concentrating on the heavier end of house but also making forays into rolling trap and bass music.
Egg London is a strictly 18+ venue. Club scan is installed in the venue at the front door, which means everyone attending Egg must have a valid form of photo ID to present to be scanned on entry. The accepted forms of ID are: unexpired passport, driving license, provisional driving license, photo cards featuring the pass hologram. Photocopies, photos or screenshots of IDs are not accepted. Egg London's management reserve the right to refuse admission into the club.
