Egg presents: Underground Artists with Digitaria, Third Son, Kevin Over, Just Her

Egg Presents is Egg London's flagship in-house party spreading its net across the wide spectrum of house and techno to showcase the most exciting established and rising act. On February 26th they welcome Digitaria, Third Son, Kevin Over, Just Her and Rafael Cerato Brazilian duo Digitaria (aka Daniela Caldellas and Daniel Albinati) defy easy categorisation, hence their ability to work across labels like Hot Creations, Items & Things and International DJ Gigolos. Having stripped down from their original incarnation as a four piece band, their techy sound can veer from moody main room techno to bassy vocal house, never losing its brooding intensity – hence their plethora of mixes for everyone from Pete Tong to Kiss FM. Third Son has just left the blocks, only releasing his first tracks for Noir Music, Einmusika and Sincopat last year, but their quality gives away the 25 year old's depth of musical training. Releasing emotive and richly textured tracks, there's obviously plenty more to come – including a full concept album and live show. Another alumni of Noir Music, Kevin Over's ‘Retrovision’ series of EPs have hit all the right notes, unashamedly nodding to '90s house and techno while packing his loopy vocals, filtered synth lines and techno stabs with some modern day muscle. Part three in the series was released last month, proving the adage that to look back to move forward.
