Egg Presents: Prok & Fitch, Ramon Tapia, Martin Ikin

On Friday the 19th of February Egg Presents, Egg London's flagship in-house night, continues to unveal house talent from around the world with Prok & Fitch, Ramon Tapia and Martin Ikin. Brighton duo Prok & Fitch arrive hot off the back of a tour of Asia, as well as the release of their recent 'Rhyme For Rhyme' release on Suara. Their rolling, groove-driven house style has been a regular presence on Mark Knight's Toolroom label, winning them a debut appearance at this year's winter warming BPM Festival. Expect them to have brought some of the heat back. An official House Gangster - it's certified, he's released on DJ Sneak's label - Belgium Ramon Tapia is a similar master of tight, bumping drums and hip-wiggling shuffle. Having done everything from remixing the back catalogue of New York's classic Strictly Rhythm label to featuring on Bedrock's round-up of its best release from 2015, Annie Mac and Sasha are amongst those caning his latest, the epic, up-lifting 'Yellow Submarine'. With a list of aliases almost as long as his discography, Martin Ikin's DJ career stretches back to the early '90s. He's been producing for as long, notching up appearances on labels stretching from Defected and Exploited to Head Kandi and Zrecords. The raw energy of his roots is still apparent in the deep-tech sound he's perfected using his actual name for the first time, ensuring a set loaded with bass.
