Circus: Yousef, Cassy, Lewis Boardman, Emerging Ibiza

Having been at the forefront of dance music fan’s attentions across the globe since the latter stages of the last century, Yousef is an artist that continues to evolve and develop with consummate ease. New sounds, new developments and new frontiers; they all remain an instrumental part of his thrust forward as one the planet’s leading underground House music tastemakers. Yousef is a complete force within electronic music, and has come to represent the ethos of the modern DJ. Absorbing a litany of roles, a seasoned authentic and peerless DJ, a label owner, a producer & remixer, an event organiser, a mentor, all with a seemingly relentless amount of vision. His efforts are thoughtful and considered and all approached with connotation. There are few who balance musical maturity and a surge to the future so eloquently and vigorously. Catherine Britton aka Cassy left England for Austria with her Caribbean father and Austrian mother in 1975. She spent her childhood in Vienna and Lower Austria learning to sing and studying music at an early age. Her first professional step into the electronic music world was as a vocalist for Elin aka Autorepeat on 'Music Takes Me Higher' on Sabotage Records. Electric Indigo was able to convince Cassy to not only involve herself as a singer but to learn how to mix records. After her first DJ gig in Vienna, Munich and further productions she met Dave the Hustler in Geneva where they started working on a collaborative project for Mental Groove, Cassy & Dave the Hustler. After moving to Berlin in 2003 and being inspired by the club scene and music, she worked with artists such as Ricardo Villalobos and Steve Bug and has also had releases on Perlon Records. Recently she started her own label Cassy, She regularly spins at the Panoramabar in Berlin. Lewis Boardman is one of the hottest new talents in house music. This rising luminary of the U.K.’s underground house scene has made his name DJing alongside the world’s finest names with a 12-year residency at the iconic ‘Circus’ in Liverpool. A regular at the UK’s top clubs (Egg London, The Warehouse Project Manchester and Circus Liverpool) a globe trotting tour schedule at the world's best and most curious clubbing destinations, Berlin, Beijing, Ibiza, Moscow and beyond. As a producer Lewis has Remixed Yousef for Renaissance and Nina Kraviz for Radio Slave’s Rekids label. A seasoned DJ, an in demand producer, and to think he is only just getting started.
