Boxing Day Special Technasia, Adrian Hour and More
Monday 26th December 2016
23:00 - 7:00
Helping you to shake off the Christmas cobwebs is Paris' Technasia. Starting life to become an influential techno duo, since going solo Charles Siegling has taken the name he co-founded in 1996 in a more tech-house direction suited to modern floors. It's also taken Technasia to new levels of success, from collaborating with Green Velvet on the bluesy 'Suga' to playing the recent Space Closing Fiesta and remixing Claptone's 'Heartbeat' into a chugging juggernaut.
He's joined by Argentinian Adrian Hour, no stranger to fans of Suara, Stereo Productions or Yoshitoshi. Formly part of a DJ duo in his home city of Buenos Aires, in 2013 Adrian also went solo and hasn't looked back since. His most recent 'Like This' release for Toolroom marries ravey siren and breakbeats with driving tech-house while 'That's It' for Knee Deep In Sound carries a similar sense of irresistable urgency and energy. Having played a showcase at this year's ADE, expect to hear lots more from him very soon.
