Selected Cuts: Ronnie Spiteri

Billed to support Sidney Charles at the club on 25th January, Ronni gives us a glimpse into his record bag with five selected cuts ahead of the night…

A name that’s bound to crop up multiple times this year, Ronnie Spiteri has emerged onto the international house scene with aplomb, holding down summer residencies at Amnesia, and Ibiza for Do Not Sleep.

Blending a sound which touches on old-school techno and infectious house melodies via We Are The Brave, Knee Deep In Sound, Truesoul and more, 2019 is set to be Ronnie’s year.

The Come Up - Avision

On the more minimal side of what I normally play, but Avision is one to watch for sure this year. The production on this one is incredible and there’s definitely going to be one or two more bangers on the way from him in the near future.

Lost Another Angel – Pig & Dan

Pig & Dan know how to put a track together and the synth work on this one is incredible – melodic, groovy and sounds insane on a proper system.

Filterheadz - Black Coffee (D-Unity Remix)

Seriously dark, industrial stuff on this D-Unity remix. Plenty of chopped up samples and effects that make it incredibly atmospheric. Definitely a track for the early hours when things start getting weird.

Namito & DJQ - Ride The Flow (Mathias Kaden Remix)

Heavy AF. Mathias smashed this one – plenty of groove and that bassline does it every time. Definitely going to be in my sets for a fair while, this one.

Expansion - Andre Crom

I love the synths on this, definitely a producer who has inspired my own productions. The stripped back drums on this sound quite basic at first but it tears club sound systems a new one – tried and tested!
