Selected Cuts: Bloody Mary

Ahead of Berlin Berlin Pride edition on 6th July, Acid powerhouse & Dame Music label boss shares 5 of her current favourite tracks with us.

French-born, Berlin-based vinyl DJ, producer, and label owner of Dame-Music Bloody Mary is one of the most exciting women in electronic music with her vinyl-only DJ sets, hardware-only Live shows, producing and running her own Dame-Music label since 2010.

Her unique musical taste and elegant on-stage presence have seen her rock festivals and clubs as both a DJ and analogue Live act for over 10 years including hype shows at Movement Detroit, Piknic Electronik Australia and Barcelona, ADE, and Sonar as well as clubs such as Space Ibiza, Panorama Bar Berlin, Smart Bar Chicago and Tresor. Bloody Mary has further cemented her reputation with stellar releases on her own label (now up to 37 releases) as well as featuring on Josh Wink’s Ovum label, DJ Pierre’s Afro Acid, and Tim Taylor’s UK techno imprint, Missile. Ahead of Berlin Berlin Pride edition on 6th July, Acid powerhouse & Dame Music label boss shares 5 of her current favourite tracks with us.

‘Acid Tracks’ - Phuture (Trax Records)

The most classic acid track by Phuture, made in the late '80s. I'm proud that I remixed this track recently for DJ Pierre's label Afro Acid and it’s out on vinyl on the 5th July.

‘Dames On Acid’ - Thomas P. Heckmann (Dame-Music)

Thomas P. Heckmann is my favourite producer and the most influential on my music production. I'm glad to have him on my label Dame-Music and I'm happy to announce that another release with him is scheduled for September 2019.

‘000000005’ - 999999999 (NineTimesNine)

The most energetic acid live act at the moment!

‘Chaos Come To Conquer’ - Dax J (Monnom Black)

One of the best UK producers! Love his work!

C'hantal - The Realm (Bloody Mary's Power To Arouse Remix) / Missile Records

A remix I released a few months ago on Missile Records. This label means a lot to me as I remember raving to many Missile tracks back in the late '90s. More is coming with Tim Taylor in the coming months.. stay tuned!
