The Fat Of The Land Album by Prodigy
That whole album is absolute Gold. But to me, it has a special meaning because I remember vividly how I bought that CD when the album came out, and the fact that this was my first ever electronic music CD I had bought on my own with the allowance my parents gave. I was 11 at the time and just blasted that thing daily driving everyone around me crazy. I think that was the actual moment where I realized I wanted to be like them, and make music.
Anthony Rother - Ape Machine
I remember when I heard that track for the first time, a long time ago and it blew my mind. That simple and in-your-face electro sound from Anthony always gets me inspired.
Mirwais - Disco Science
I first heard this track on the movie ’Snatch’ and it has stayed with me through the years. The Soundtrack for that film is amazing and that goes without saying but that track, in particular, gave me a glimpse of electronic music in my very early years.
The 2001 Album by Dr Dre
I’ve always been a big fan of the California Hip-Hop and G-Funk sound and I still listen to this album from time to time and still love, even after almost 20 years.
Mr Oizo - M Seq
A classic from Mr Oizo, this tracks reminds me of a special time in my life where I actually started making music not just as a hobby, but with the intention of being great at it and possibly even living off of music.
