Ahead of her set on Friday 27/11/15, we caught up with the queen of the White isle herself Sam Divine, where we talked future projects and her thoughts on Egg London.

1. Tell us where you are in your career right now? Have you any exciting plans for 2016 that fans can look forward to?

I’ve just been nominated for Best Breakthrough DJ in the Best of British DJ mag awards which is something I’m very proud of. I also started my own record label at the start of the year which has got off to a phenomenal start with 2 number 1’s on traxsource and every release hitting top 10. Next year we plan to take D-Vine Sounds on tour and already have festival offers

2. Egg seems to be a reoccurring venue for you, what brings you back each time?

I love everything about Egg. From the staff to the set up and crowd. It’s my favorite club to go hang out with industry bods on my rare nights off

3. You will be playing in our new Garden Room, it should be a different experience at Egg for you, are you looking forward to seeing what it’s like?

Of course! Sounds really good! It doesn’t matter what room you play in at Egg, it’s always a good vibe

4. We are such big fans of your music, what track never leaves your set? Is there any track that you love to specifically play at Egg?

Mine and Curtis Gabriel’s remix of Flowers has been doing the rounds this summer and always gets a huge reaction. I’m looking forward to dropping it at Egg

5. What have been your best memories from 2015?

There’s been a lot of highlights, I’ve played many festivals this summer which have all been amazing including We Are FSTVL as my favorite but closing Closing Amnesia terrace for the Defected closing party was really special.
