London duo Tough Love return for another session of Get Twisted, their label celebrating its fifth anniversary this year with the release of 'Past Present Future', a three part EP tracing Tough Love’s ever upward trajectory. With Part 1 celebrating their biggest hits to date, ‘So Freakin’ Tight’ and ‘Pony’, alongside underground cuts like ‘Touch’ and ‘Like I Can’, check out 'Animal', Tough Love's latest single fusing together their love of garage, R&B and house, for a taster of Part 2.
Joining them is special guest MJ Cole. The UK garage legend has a deep back catalogue of club and chart smashes, including 'Sincere' and 'Crazy Love', and has also worked with the likes of Elisabeth Troy, Serocee and Wiley on his own Prolific Recordings, before starting up newest label 892 Recordings last year. Equally as at home spinning soulful vocal-led productions as delivering jump-up basslines, expect a masterclass from one of the pioneers of garage.
North-Londoner N:Fostell brings his own UK garage knowledge to join this alongside Get Twisted regular and rising star Blaise, who has recently signed to MoS and has a new single out this summer. Making his DJ debut is Nastaly, an MC and vocalist who has already fronted tracks from Roger Sanchez, Amine Edge & Dance and Tough Love themselves.
