Egg LDN Pres: 999999999, DeFeKT & Jasmine Azarian, Kyle E

Saturday 20th April sees a line-up of the finest names in techno from Italy and Ireland come together to host our Middle Floor. Relatively new on the scene but making a considerably large impression on the European soundscape, Italian live duo 999999999 head up the bill with an overwhelming amount of hardware to bring their sound to life.

A quick glance at their discography shows a slew of productions over the last year which includes scuzzy acid to fast-paced, club-orientated tracks like 000000005 [NTN002] on their own label, Nine Times Nine. With previous tour dates covering San Francisco, Moscow, Amsterdam and more, 999999999 make an overdue appearance in London for their Egg debut. A tireless advocate for live techno and crusty electro in his own right, DeFeKT joins 999999999 for a live set with his hefty set up of analogue drum machines and modular synths. 

Well known for collaborating with Sunil Sharpe as a live duo using their moniker of Tinfoil, DeFeKT is considered one of Ireland’s most outstanding live producers and is set put our KV2 system through its paces. Jasmine Azarian is a name which has cropped up in a plethora of international events this year, from Berlin’s infamous 70001 Festival to Barcelona’s Moog club. 

Having shared her billings with the likes of Helena Hauff, Sunil Sharpe, Randomer and many more, this will be her first time playing the club with 999999999 and DeFeKT. As founder of the hard techno label, webzine and event series MOTZ, the Irish producer and selector remains a multi-talented artist who is certainly one to watch this year.
