After an incredible year for the Berlin Berlin parties, this unrestrained celebration inspired by the music and culture of the legendary city takeover Egg London on Saturday, January 21st. Welcoming for the first time the Kater Kant trio of Ruede Hagelstein, The Sorry Entertainer and Peter Schumann powering up a musical soundtrack of cutting edge techno & house who feature alongside the all-weekender Sisyphos residents Jonty Skrufff, Fidelity Kastrow & Juli.N More and making their BB debut, Allstars including Andre Galluzzi and Okain.

Blurring the boundaries of nightlife to create a party playground where anything goes and pulling out all the stops, Berlin Berlin runs riot pioneering a strict no camera policy (adopted from Berlin) as its young risqué underground crowd party till the sun rises. ‘What goes on in Berlin Berlin, stays in Berlin Berlin’ (!) distilling the true essence of the city’s unique and experimental hedonistic party vibe. Fuelled by jaw-dropping performances, BB’s polysexual atmosphere explores the Berlin:London connect at its wildest...

Situated on the banks of the River Spree, you can party all day long from Saturday to Monday with confetti rain to Electro music as Kater Kant fuses ‘Berlin creative mixed with street art’ and a wild house/techno music soundtrack. Channelling the Blau experience is, the mainstay of Berlin’s house and techno scene, Ruede Hagelstein, resident at Watergate and a renown promoter and DJ/Producer. He’s released music on labels such as Watergate, Upon You Rec, Souvenir Music, Noir Music, Keinemusik, Freude am Tanzen, Systematic, Bedrock, Suara and more whilst carving out a unique imprint in the city’s electronic music scene. Joined by the riotous The Sorry Entertainer who promises anything can happen in his long, extravagant DJ sessions.

Completing the Kater line is resident Peter Schumann, known for minimal grooving beats and a colourful variety of House, Detroit and Minimal sounds and his Platte International, strictly limited imprint that’s only available on Vinyl.

Starting 2016 with six hour queues at peak times during their six-day nonstop Sylvestre (new year) party, Sisyphos has had another fabulous year of road-blocked, riotous, more-often-than-not truly magical parties- despite remaining largely under the mainstream media radar and for many inaccessible courtesy of their uber-tough (though usually friendly and fair) Berlin-friendly vibe check/ door policy.

Looking into 2017, Sisyphos leading lights (and Berlin Berlin Headliner/Residents) Jonty Skrufff and Fidelity Kastrow will also be contributing tracks to Egg's brand new label What Came First (kicking off with Jonty Skrufff's ‘Warpaint’ tried and tested on the dance floor already.

As a DJ, Andre Galluzzi has held residencies at three of Germany and the world’s most influential clubs - Tresor, Ostgut and Berghain - and heads up the All Stars line-up hot on the heels of his debut release ‘Submerge EP’ on Josh Wink’s Ovum label. Hailed for the legendary mix compilation, André Galluzzi: Im Garten and his Submerge event series, Andre followed up with a set of stellar productions including his debut solo album Alcatraz on Aras, his and Guido Schneider’s masterpiece ‘Mario’ on Sven Väth's Cocoon label and ‘The Nine’ Remix which came out on Sven Väth’ s Sound of Cocoon’s 17th season last month.

Respected DJ & producer Okain completes the line-up having released on respected labels such as Tsuba, Bpitch Control, Hypercolour, Quartz and Truesoul. Having recently launched his own Talman Records, latest releases include ‘There Is Light’ and ‘Second Phase’.

Berlin Berlin welcomes back Dalston’s alternative Homostash crew headed up by Tafkanik and co who take over the Loft space firing up the dancefloor with their brash house, techy and nu disco sounds.

In Egg LDN’s club-within-the-club, Apothecary, Kuntskammer aka club kids Lewis G Burton, Kassandra Powell and guests host an avant-garde salon featuring wild cabaret, peep show poses, music and much more…where the wheels of Berlin Berlin truly come off.

More performances across the night follow in the Garden with 4 other leading lights of London’s extraordinary cabaret scene on the front cover of July’s Gasholder http://www.gasholder.london/2016/06/29/berlin-berlin-egg-risque-cabaret-acts/ including the incredible lady in red, Marnie Scarlet; the other wordly, Syban, minx Ruby Bird and the bubbly Bambi Blue.

Berlin Berlin is one of Egg Ldn’s flagship nights, blurring the boundaries of nightlife to create a party playground where anything goes.
