Egbert Van Der Gugten is currently one of the most promising talents within house and techno. His live sets are quickly becoming the talk of the scene with his high-tempo style suited towards a continental crowd.
After his debut on Lo-Fi Soul, it was mainly his "Vlammen-EP" on Michel de Hey's EC Records in February 2009 which went broke him onto the scene and on dancefloors, gaining support from the legendary Sven Vath along the way.
His sound fuses many different forms of house and techno, incorporating tech, dub and detroit elements all in one. Over the last couple of years he has emerged as one of the world’s most underground and innovative techno producers with a stack of tracks, singles, EPs and album Warm to his credit – a discography, unsurprisingly, that continues to grow and is universally well received as they undulate around the world.
It is because of this that Egbert was the perfect choice for Familia at their coming event this Saturday. With his heavily European sound he’ll be an instant favourite with the Familia faithful for sure.
