Paradox has been quietly going about their business of being one of London’s coolest underground house and techno parties over the last few years. Taking place every Tuesday night, the Paradox camp provide a welcoming family atmosphere for those fed up with the weekly grind and aching to get their dancing shoes on before the weekend comes. With past guests including Radio Slave, Marcel Fengler, Baby Ford and more, it’s to no surprise that their lineup on Tuesday 3rd February is another big one. Joining them on the 3rd will be Apollonia main man Shonky with close friend and London stalwart Stephane Ghenacia in tow.
As a previous Mathematician it’s certainly not considered the most ordinary of journeys into music, but Shonky has certainly demonstrated his ability all over the world as a master of his craft. Having met Dan Ghenacia in Paris’ infamous after hours spot Batofar, the two would go on to form the now world renowned Apollonia with Dyed Soundorom.
A true perfectionist in every sense of the word, Shonky’s productions have graced the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Culprit and Real Tone Records. A vital member in the Apollonia trio, the group have hosted regular events at Ibiza’s legendary DC10 as well as headlining around the world including Movement Detroit and BPM festival. With a Fabric Mix compilation also under their belt, the trio are considered to be in the true heavyweights of the house and techno scene.
We cannot wait for him join the Paradox camp alongside label mate Dan’s brother Stephane Ghenacia of Colours London for what’s set to be a very special mid-week gig.
