Selected Cuts: Fidelity Kastrow | Sisyphos

Kastrow joins Saturday’s Berlin Berlin line-up and ahead of the show, she’s shared five selected cuts with us from her teeming collection of slamming tracks…

She’s one of Sisyphos Berlin’s most prolific residents to date and after her recent feature in Mixmag’s ‘Resident DJs at the heart of Berlin’s Club Scene’, Fidelity Kastrow is the epitome of a Berlin-based artist whose discography reflects her German surroundings. Her sonic library includes an overwhelming variety of rough and ready techno, as well as her own pummelling releases on Sisyphos’ imprint, Sisyphon.

Dustin Zahn: Subtle Flex / Rekids

Excellent hypnotic groove for locking people in and taking the energy subtly up. Particularly love the Detroit stabs giving it a 90s warehouse party type feel.

Florian Meindl: Bell’s Theorem / Flash Recordings

Love how all the atmospherics take you on a trip deep into the underworld while the melodic bits flicker patches of light into the darkness. Great track to give an exhausted crowd time to rest and reset without losing the energy.

Viers: Let My Mind Breathe / Figure

Perfect change-over track. Love to loop and layer the main break to foreshadow the track then hot-cue back to the beginning. Works well anytime for me.

Neumann: Coaster (Original Mix) / What Came First

Amazing mood building track that creates a slow burning euphoria in the room with people smiling with their eyes closed. Truly magical.

Andre Crom: Feel (Dub Mix) / Ovum

One of my get-out-of-jail bomb tracks that gets everyone dancing and has me air punching every time. Killer tune that works equally well in London or Berlin.
