Martin Ikin: Four To The Floor

Four tracks destined to set off Egg's Ibiza Send Off this Friday 20th

With a list of aliases almost as long as his discography, Martin Ikin's DJ career stretches back to the early '90s. He's been producing for as long too, notching up appearances on labels stretching from Defected and Exploited to Head Kandi and Z Records. The raw energy of his rave roots is also still apparent in the deep-tech sound he's perfected using his actual name for the first time.

Ahead of his appearance at the Egg LDN Ibiza Send Off this Friday 20th of May, we asked him for four tracks that have been doing the business in his sets

Martin is joined by Jey Kurmis, Jess Bays, Ellie Cocks and more. Tickets and info here.

DJ Le Roi feat. Roland Clark - 'I Get Deep (Late Nite Tuff Guy Remix - Emanuel Satie Rework)'

“This record is just pure groove, simple, hypnotic, repetitive filth, I just love it. And the production is super on point here, too. Heavy as fuck!”

Gorge – 'Tayo'

“Once again, its all about the groove here, nothing fancy, just a real infectious bassline. I could listen to it all day. It sounds so dope in the club too. A head down roller!”

Martin Ikin & Low Steppa featuring Elisabeth Troy - 'About Time'

“Of course, it's about time that I added one from yours truly… Myself, Will Bailey and Elisabeth Troy just vibesin’. It never fails!”

Adapter - 'Take The Flow (Detlef Remix)'

“Very much man of the moment, Detlef kills the remix on this. Another one from last year but still does the bizzo on the floors every time. Ghetto tech!”
