February 2016

It's a packed month in February with visits from Amnesia, Toolroom Live, Franky Rizardo's Flow, Hot Creations boss Lee Foss, Sam Divine's D-Vine Sounds, Sabajaq with Pig&Dan and Pleasurekraft, and more...

Dry January is hopefully a distant memory as Egg rolls into 2016's 29 day February with a succession of exceptional parties to get back in the saddle.

Dutch wunderkind Franky Rizardo starts the drinks pouring on Friday 5th with Flow, the night named after his popular podcasts. Playing a three-hour set, packed with hits like the recent 'Come Into My Life' or 'Ragga Nation', his collaboration with acid house legend MC Kinky, he's joined by special guest Low Steppa, who brings his garage-influenced sound from Birmingham, and fellow countrymen Ferreck Dawn and Jasper Fioole. On Saturday 6th Ibiza's legendary Amnesia deliver a slice of summer to King's Cross utilising some of the DJs who rocked their club last season. Heading up proceedings is Hector, who has gone from the counter of Phonica Records to become one of the world's most in demand house DJs. He is joined by Hot Creations' Hector Couto, Amnesia resident Mar-T and more, while Futureboogie's Hackman brings his melodic UK styles to the ground floor and Cocoon hero Dorian Paic heads up the Terrance alongside Maura, Vinicius Honorio and Eduardo Tuccillo.

On Friday 12th Egg Presents: Wankelmut from Get Physical, whose exceptional deep house remix of Asaf Avidan's 'Reckoning Song/One day' is currently sitting at 3.5 million SoundCloud plays. He's joined by David Zowie who, despite some confusion, is very much alive and still serving up house every weekend. Then on Saturday 13th the Familia Masked Ball takes over with a showcase of Germany's Moon Harbour Recordings. Expect a marathon six-hour set from label boss Matthias Tanzmann, alongside right hand man Dan Drastic.

Egg Presents: Prok & Fitch on Friday 19th, the Brighton duo Radio 1 mainstays thanks to their pumping house grooves. It's an all-star line with Belgium house gangster Ramon Tapia and London deep-tech producer Martin Ikin keeping the club rocking into the morning light. The following night, Saturday 20th, Egg Presents: Lee Foss, the Hot Creation's co-founder and one third of Hot Natured returning for the fourth time and bringing his universally loved mix of disco and tech. He's joined by Puerto Rican house star Cab Calloway, while Canada's D-Unity brings pounding techno for those that prefer it heavy and hard.

Rounding off the month Egg Presents: Underground Artists, who kick off the weekend on Friday 26th. Whether releasing on Hot Creations, Items & Things or International Deejay Gigolos, headlining Brazilian duo Digitaria bring the goods. Joining them are two young acts from Noir Music, Third Son and Kevin Over, while Just Her from Crosstown Rebels signed HimSelfHer returns again. Closing out the month with yet another high production spectacle is Sabajaq, presenting a double dose of house and techno. Pig & Dan spearhead the latter, unleashing the rolling tracks that have graced labels from Cocoon to Tronic, while Pleasurekraft and the Classic Records affiliated ZDS keep the house room on lockdown.

Don't forget Paradox either, Egg's regular Tuesday night party which runs from 11pm to 6am for those with a mid-week itch to scratch.
