DJ Mag Best Of British 2017

We've been nominated in the ‘Best Large Club’ category!

The time has come to place your votes for a weighty event in our calendar, the ‘DJ Mag Best Of British 2017 Awards’, hosted here at Egg LDN for the second year in a row.

Celebrating all things British in the electronic music industry from DJ’s to venues, producers to festivals now is your chance to support and show your appreciation for your favourite contender in the running.

Nominated in the ‘Best Large Club’ category among stiff competition in London’s electronic scene, we’re delighted to not only host the occasion but humbled to know our hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Thanks to a powerful year with talented artists playing in our ever-evolving space, we’ve brought in a mix of loyal clubbers to tentative newcomers, each of whom has helped us get to no. 36 in DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 Clubs in the World’ poll this year, in addition to this year’s ‘Best of British’ nomination.

2017 has certainly been a huge year for us with our first world tour covering terrain in South America, North America, Asia and Europe. We have also had a list of strong releases from our What Came First label. In addition to hosting our usual festival after-party in collaboration with Eastern Electrics, we also welcomed new faces to the club such as Röyksopp and drum n’ bass label, Spearhead. The growth of our in-house events, such as Berlin Berlin which earned a status as one of London’s most unique nights, resulted in a diverse crowd entering the doors each weekend. Contributing to our packed out 2017 calendar, heavyweights such as Pan-Pot, Matador, Green Velvet, Laurent Garnier, Monika Kruse, Sam Paganini, Pete Tong and Matthias Tanzmann are just a handful of stellar bookings who took command of the Main Room throughout the year.

We would like to thank all of you for making 2017 so special and for showing your support, roll on 2018!
