All aboard... the Night Tube

London's tubes go 24-hour on Friday and Saturday from this weekend

London nightlife gets a vital boost this Friday 19th August when the capital's Night Tube finally kicks off.

Initially opening on the Central and Victoria lines, with the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines following in autumn, Fridays and Saturdays will now see a 24-hour tube service. With trains running approximately every 8-10 minutes (read full details of the service here) and fares charged at standard off peak prices, it's a wallet friendly alternative way of getting home, or going out, when compared to Uber and quicker than the ordeal of the night bus.

To celebrate this long overdue modernisation, which brings London in line with cities like New York and Berlin, we're selling special £5 tickets for Egg Presents on Friday, where you can catch Jey Kurmis, Latmun and GW Harrison. Grab them here and enjoy your first nocturnal journey home on the underground. While you're doing it, you might as well pump this in your headphones too...
