Familia’s July Fourth Special looks set to make clubbing history as two of the most respected pioneers from the land of the free – Kevin Saunderson and Kenny Larkin play back to back for the very first time. The combination of Kevin Saunderson, one of the three originators of techno as we know it today, and Kenny Larkin, who is without question one of Detroit’s finest, is nothing short of jaw dropping, as we echo the success of Familia’s ‘Back to Back’ events for the first time this year. Headlining the Ground Floor will be Shaded, who’s live shows have set dancefloors alight around the globe with his signature pacey and energised sound. Shaded’s releases on Sci-Tec can be found at the front of the most discerning techno aficionado’s collections whist his appearances alongside label head honcho Dubfire have become almost synonymous. In support and throughout the night, exclusive appearances from Familia’s Fabio Ferro, Ben Grunnell. Nick Tcherniak and Kyle E set against a backdrop of explosive visuals and surprises that the cosmopolitan faithful followers of the night have come to expect. The date of this party alone conjures up red white and blue imagery, but the stars and stripes on our banner are not only for our American brothers and sisters, but for one and all in which we will celebrate universal freedom, independence and the finest underground music around, in an event that’s not to be missed!
