Hailed as the clubbing capital of the world with its open all hours weekend clubs, Berlin Berlin welcomes two of the German clubbing mecca's finest musical scene-shaping crews with the Rumpelkammer (Kater Blau) and Steyoyoke families flying in for an Exclusive BB Birthday celebration and Egg London takeover on Saturday July 15th. The legendary electronic music pioneer Daniel Miller (Mute Records) joins the party playing for the Sisyphos residents, and get ready to take a walk on the wild side.

Blurring the boundaries of nightlife to create a party playground where anything goes, Berlin Berlin runs riot whilst pioneering a strict no camera policy (adopted from Berlin) as its young, risqué underground crowd party till the sun rises. ‘What goes on in Berlin Berlin, stays in Berlin Berlin’, distilling the true essence of the city’s unique and experimental hedonistic party vibe. Fuelled by jaw-dropping performances, BB’s polysexual atmosphere explores the Berlin:London connect at its wildest...

Hugely influential electronic music pioneer, Daniel Miller (founder of Mute Records) makes his Berlin Berlin debut for Sisyphos having impressed at the recent Egg London Birthday and expect a lesson in techno from the man who laid its foundations. Residing half of his time in Berlin, Daniel can be found guesting at special events at Berghain and Sisyphos, and is about to reactivate his Novamute techno label. His own ‘Warm Leatherette’ cult electronic track under the name The Normal (later covered by Grace Jones) helped launch Mute before Daniel went on to introduce the world to Depeche Mode, Erasure, Fad Gadget, Goldfrapp, Moby, New Order, Nitzer Ebb, Wire, Yazoo and many more. He joins mainstay of Berlin’s techno scene, Sisyphos residents Jonty Skrufff and Fidelity Kastrow and guest Yetti Meissner. With Jonty’s forthcoming tried and tested ‘Warpaint’ release due on Egg's new label What Came First soon, expect musical exclusives and fireworks in true ‘Hammehalle’ style.

Another all weekend clubbing experience is Kater Blau and catch them at BB in their Rumpelkammer offshoot with resident DJ Peter Schumann, known for minimal grooving beats and his strictly limited vinyl only imprint, Platte International. He’s joined by Bo Irion, resident at Tanzhaus West and Dora Brilliant.

Newcomers to the BB party are deep house label Steyoyoke Recordings, who’ve been turning heads since their launch in 2012 for their eye-catching covers and their ‘ethereal techno’ releases. Channeling dark and trippy sounds is Nick Devon known for dropping vinyl and his two huge EP’s “The Poem” and “Cosmos”. The ever inventive Dahu brings eerie musicality and completing the line up is Mpathy of ‘If I Were Music’ fame.

Dalston’s alternative Homostash crew, headed up by Tafkanik are taking over the Loft space firing up the dance floor with a mix of party house, tech and nu disco sounds. The Kunstkammer avant-garde salon of wild cabaret, peep show poses and much more, hosted by club kids Lewis G Burton and Kassandra Powell, mingles alongside and this is ‘where the wheels of Berlin Berlin truly come off’!

Leading lights of London’s extraordinary cabaret scene fire off wild performances across the night in the Main Room.

Berlin Berlin… blurring the boundaries of nightlife to create a party playground where anything goes.
